Inter­ac­tive Pdf files are often online forms and newslet­ters that need some inter­ac­tion with their read­ers — for exam­ple: the read­er must tick to choose some prod­ucts from a list of prod­ucts and then based on read­er’s choice the pdf cal­cu­lates the total price for all the cho­sen prod­ucts and shows it to the reader.
Inter­ac­tive Pow­er­Point Pre­sen­ta­tions work a sim­i­lar way. Also the user has great con­trol of their behav­iour — tim­ing of the texts and graph­ics, tran­si­tion between slides, ani­ma­tion of the ele­ments etc.
