The aim of local­i­sa­tion DTP work is to match trans­lat­ed doc­u­ments to their orig­i­nals. Some­times an Eng­lish doc­u­ment may become larg­er in size when it is trans­lat­ed in French for exam­ple. Local­i­sa­tion DTP works with this trans­lat­ed doc­u­ment to make its appear­ance as close as pos­si­ble to the Eng­lish doc­u­ment. Doc­u­ments are built with var­i­ous soft­ware and knowl­edge of it is a must. My Local­i­sa­tion DTP work involves work­ing with Adobe InDe­sign, Pho­to­shop and Illus­tra­tor, Adobe Flash, Adobe FrameMak­er, MS Word, Excel and Pow­er­Point files.
