Pub­lished in 1911 “La Révo­lu­tion” by the his­to­ri­an Louis Madelin is a book about  the French Rev­o­lu­tion of 1789. Body and cov­er design.

Paper­back cov­er of the Bul­gar­i­an issue of the book (2005) uses as its core ele­ment the famous paint­ing “Lib­er­ty Lead­ing the Peo­ple” by Eugène Delacroix.

The fig­ure of Lib­er­ty exits the frame of the paint­ing con­nect­ing the Rev­o­lu­tion’s Era to our present days.
